What we do
There is nothing like home for your loved ones regardless of their needs. We all share similar concerns about their care and support and naturally want to enable them to remain in and enjoy their own home for as long as possible. That's where Bosworth Homecare can really make a difference to the quality of life of those whom we support.
The reality is that there are times when even the most loving and dedicated family and friends need a break. There can be any number of reasons for this; perhaps the person supporting is themselves unwell or has to be elsewhere, or maybe they are taking a well deserved holiday? This is where we can come in. Without respite care services, those cared for at home would often have no option but to enter into a residential facility. For those with dementia or learning disabilities this can be an extremely stressful and upsetting prospect; as well as for their carers too.
In these situations, Bosworth Homecare's highly trained and experienced team can offer our Home Care service on a temporary basis, be it from a couple of hours to cover a shopping trip, right up to a few weeks whilst the primary carer is away on holiday.
Our Personal Care services provide hands-on help with those basic functions of life, all provided with sensitivity to the emotional issues so often connected with an inability to perform these essential functions. Our team are trained to ensure that the appropriate safety precautions are taken to promote health and well being.
Support with daily living can cover various tasks that you may have difficulty with; for example feeding, bathing or dressing yourself, remembering to take your medication and shopping. Our support means that your life will be made so much easier and our services cover a wide range of tasks. This may include getting up and dressed, preparing meals, assisting to the toilet, help with taking medication, assisting with paperwork, and general companionship.
We can support you with your daily routine and offer assistance with all aspects of pesonal care such as shaving and hair care, etc.
One of the most rewarding aspects of home care support is the difference companionship can make. Our companionship services are tailored to support your choices and deliver the care you need to live your life how you choose.
Companionship provides a valuable social benefit by preventing isolation and helping to reduce depression from being alone. It also provides invaluable peace of mind to the person's family by offering information and respite for family and friends.
These services help make life more manageable. Companions are essential “eyes and ears” to family members. Most importantly, they act as a friend who listens and cares. Bosworth Homecare makes sure that you are never alone if you are worried about feeling withdrawn from society.
Through our companionship service we can support you or your loved ones to appoinments and social activities.
Live in Care
A live-in care service provides around the clock home care for adults who may need this level of support to continue living in their own home and community.
Bosworth Homecare will provide you with your own, dedicated care team who is always available in your own home to help you, day or night.
When a potential client or their loved one approaches us for live-in care, the first step is to find out as much as we can about that person, their interests, history and personality. Based on this information, the care team will produce a support plan, which is tailored to suit that person's needs and wishes.
Working in teams our carers provide excellent care to your loved ones in the comfort and security of their own homes, either on a permanent or respite basis. We have carers specialising in a range of conditions including Dementia and Parkinson’s providing excellent round-the-clock care, without the disruption of moving into a care home.
